Nepal beat Pakistan 1-0 in SAFF Championship
Kathmandu - Nepal has defeated Pakistan in the 14th edition of SAFF Championship football.
Nepal defeated Pakistan by 1-0 in the match held on Tuesday in Bengaluru, India. Nepal's Ashish Chaudhary scored in the 80th minute.
Despite winning today, Nepal has been eliminated from the group stage after losing both the previous matches. Pakistan is also out of the competition. Former runners-up Nepal lost to Kuwait in the first match and India in the second match.
From group 'A', Kuwait is on top and India is on second place and has reached the semi-finals. The group winners and runners-up will be decided after today's match between Kuwait and India.
